Matt Holland, the hands-on founder of The Allbiz Deal Room, actively oversees various facets of the back-end operations, including deal management, marketing, software, server oversight, and system administration.

Drawing on 25 years of experience, Matt has primarily operated within his own ventures or under franchise and licenced business models, as outlined below:

• Mortgage Choice (ASX-listed): Top 10 broker status for ten consecutive years, from 2002 to 2012, and established as the group's largest multi-site operator during his tenure from 2001 to 2012.
• DMX Corporation (ASX-listed): served as the acquisitions manager and held a substantial ownership stake from 2012 to 2014.
• Ray White: held the position of Head of Business Sales NSW at the Corporate Offices, Sydney, where he was awarded the Elite Broker Sales Award.
• Mentored: In 2018, Mark Bouris and Matt Holland launched Mentored Business as a 50/50 partnership, which has now developed into a national operation under the Allbiz Deal Room brand.
  

Ian can remember coming home at age 18 and telling his mother that he wanted to have his own business; in fact, he had found a great takeaway to buy with the little money he had and just a few weeks into his commerce degree. No surprise that she promptly marched him back to his lectures!

In time, he started his first business and then bought and started a couple more across the financial services, real estate, and hospitality industries, and as the opportunities arose, he planned and managed the exits. 

In the decade before this, he cut his teeth as a CPA accountant for companies, contributing to strategy, financial management, capital raising, and debt funding.

Clients working with Ian benefit from the knowledge he has accumulated from this experience when formulating their own plans to transact or grow a business.

With a passion for business and his genuine approach, Ian builds strong connections with those involved in the capital-raising and business-broking environments.

Away from work, you will find him in the outdoors, hiking, camping, mountain biking, or just having a coldie around the campfire with friends and family.
